   ABOUT
  The Natural History Group is a lesbian and gay run organization which meets monthly to interact around the Sciences and related topics. The group also indeavers to produce a monthly program presented by professionals in Science and related fields as well as tangental subjects involved in the process, presentation or activity of same. The Group also plans monthly fieldtrips and circulates lists of cultural activities and suggested readings. TOP

   MEETINGS
  The Natural History Group meets at the Lesbian & Gay Community Services Center, at 208 West 13th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues), New York City. The meetings are on the first Thursday of every month at 8pm (see list at reception desk for room number). All meetings include a brief discription of the Group, introductions, idea swapping, a time for "Show and Tell", and a Program. Please note: If the program on the agenda is a long one the preceding will be shortened proportionably.
The closest Subway lines are: The A, C, & E trains stoping at 8th Avenue and 14th Street; The 1, 2, 3 & 9 trains stoping at 7th Avenue and 14th Street; And the closest Bus routes: M20 (7th & 8th Avenues,) M11 (9th & 10th Avenues) & M14 (14th Street crosstown) Non-members are always welcome. TOP

   PROGRAMS
  The Group plans to have a program for every meeting. If you have an idea, or want to present a program to the Group please contact Cheryl, PhD at:email.    FIELDTRIPS
  A monthly fieldtrip is run or promoted by the Group and can be anything from a nature walk (hike) including wildlife and flora to visits to local museums or other cultural happenings.    MEMBERSHIP
  Membership is open to all interested individuals at $15 a year or $20 to households. If you would like to become a member of the Natural History Group please fill in the Member Information Form or contact George at: email.
